Lovegud

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026. Lovegud has not been released yet.

Lovegud ("the App") is developed by Angad Singh Bedi ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

The short version: I don't collect your data. The App has no account, no servers and no analytics, and it makes no network requests of its own. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Data That Stays on Your Device

The following is stored locally on your device and is never sent anywhere by the App:

The App does not use iCloud and has no sync. Deleting the App deletes this data. Settings, under Data, has a read-only page called "What Lovegud keeps" that lists it: the starts logged, how many times you tapped "Patience has started", how many notes you have, and your cycle settings. It does not show the text of your notes.

Sensitive Information

Cycle dates are health-related information about another person. The App is built so that this information is not shown outside the App: its widgets, notifications, Siri replies and Shortcuts show only a one or two word cue and, in some places, a suggestion for the day, never dates or counts. You can lock the App with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.

Widgets, Siri and Shortcuts

The App's widgets and its Lock Screen and Control Center control read a small summary from a storage space shared only between the App and its widgets on your iPhone. That summary holds the cycle start date, the cycle length and the phase lengths, so that a widget can work out today's cue. The widgets show a cue word, a symbol and a progress bar, and the medium widget also shows the day's suggestion. They do not show dates or counts. Your notes are not in that storage.

The App offers two Siri and Shortcuts actions: "Get Today's Play", which says today's cue and suggestion, and "Log New Start", which logs today as a new cycle start. Anyone who can use Siri or Shortcuts on your unlocked iPhone can use them. Siri and Shortcuts are Apple's features, and Apple's own privacy policy covers them.

App Lock

If you turn on the app lock, your iPhone checks your face, fingerprint or passcode. The App is only told whether the check passed. It never sees or stores biometric data, and it stores no passcode.

Backups

You can export a backup file from Settings, under Data, and import it again later. The file holds your logged start dates, cycle and phase settings, Patience data, notification settings and your notes. It is created on your device and goes only where you choose to save or send it, using iOS's own file sheet. I never receive it. Anyone who has the file can read it.

Feedback

If you choose "Send feedback", the App opens an email to me in your own mail app. The email carries the App's version and your iOS version, and nothing else: no dates, no notes and no counts. You can read, change or delete it before you send it. If you send it, I receive your email address and whatever the email contains, and I use them only to read and answer your feedback. The App keeps no counts of how you use it.

Notifications

If you allow them, the App schedules reminders on your device through iOS: a short cue at the time you choose when a new phase starts, and one nudge, "Anything to log?", the morning after the expected window has closed. No notification service or server is involved. They never show dates or counts.

Network Requests, Analytics and Tracking

The App makes no network requests of its own. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Some links open outside the App, in your browser or the App Store, when you tap them: the Playbook's links to PMDD and PMS guidance, and the page about my other apps in Settings. What those sites do is covered by their own policies.

Apple gives app developers anonymous, combined statistics from people who have chosen to share them: how many people installed, opened or deleted the App, and crash reports. I can see those totals. I cannot see a person or a device. You control this on your iPhone in Settings, under Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements, Share With App Developers.

Children

The App collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, I will update this page and its date.
